Fleisher Ollman Gallery

Molly Metz: Vernal Pool

In her second solo exhibition at Fleisher/Ollman, Molly Metz (b. 1992, lives and works in Philadelphia) presents abstract paintings that recall the rich complexity of existence from the cellular to the astronomical, from the terrestrial to the aquatic, and the spaces in-between that teem with life. Complimenting these animated, effervescent works, Metz debuts a new artistic direction in the exhibition: ceramic sculpture that add dimension and depth to her singular approach to painting.
