The luminous, expansive, and aesthetically captivating works on display reflect a unique world shaped by the fusion of seemingly disparate imagery and language. Join us in celebrating the debut of Jackie Milad's remarkable exhibition, where each artwork invites you to explore the dynamic interplay of culture and individual expression.

From the intricacies of urban socio-economic status to the natural beauty of the city, and the diverse tapestry of neighborhoods, Philadelphia has provided these artists with a rich palette of inspiration. La Vaughn Belle, Solo Exhibition

Enter the realm of La Vaughn Belle’s artistic journey with her first solo exhibition at Pentimenti Gallery. Belle’s meticulous work examines archives, architecture, oral histories, myths, and material culture from the colonial period to today. She lives in the U.S. Virgin Islands, a place that has changed colonial hands seven times—the longest being Denmark and the last being the United States. Her work explores a narrative that intertwines personal and global histories, crafting new stories that affirm the principles of freedom and self-determination.
