EXHIBITION

Women’s Caucus for Art Juried Exhibition

Juried by Patti Jordan and Sarah Bloom, WCA

This exhibition is a collaboration between Art in City Hall, a program administered by Philadelphia’s Office of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, and the Women’s Caucus for Art, an organization which began in 1972 and which was headquartered at the Moore College of Art and Design from 1983 to 1997.

The show amplifies the diverse, creative voices of 46 local women and gender nonconforming artists. A combination of invited artists and artists selected through an open call, the works reflect the inclusive values of Philadelphia, and explore contemporary social issues, including women’s empowerment, gender identity, equality, and more in the context of Women’s History Month.
